Patricia Vlad

Born in Romania, Patricia is an open-minded and sociable person. After having the possibility of living in various countries, she studied for her Master in International Management + CEMS at ESADE University in Barcelona after finishing a Double Degree in International Business from Universita Bocconi and Central European University, Budapest. Her international background gave her the opportunity to meet a lot of people and develop a better understanding of cultures also due to her interest in languages. Patricia has worked for the United Nations Development Program where she helped organize a workshop on the theme of Democratic Governance. This experience made her interest in UN projects and goals grow bigger and she wanted to get involved in MUNs as well. As a result she decided to help organize the MILMUN 2012 Conference, as the Conference Manager. She joined the Advisory Board in 2012 after she realized she can use her skills to help MILMUN develop further and reach the new goals set by the Board.


Marco Graziano


Marco, 22 years old and hailing from La Spezia, Liguria, is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Economics and Social Sciences at Università Bocconi, where he was the inaugural recipient of the Bocconi Alumni Senior Scolarship. He is currently attending the MPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford. Intrigued by diplomacy and international organisations since his high school years, he took part in his first MUN in 2013 and the ensuing severe addiction led him to join various conferences from Latvia to Israel, taking home unforgettable moments and his good share of awards.

Marco is also a keen traveler and a passionate language learner, fluent in Italian, English and Spanish and currently learning French. After enrolling in Bocconi Students MILMUN Society on his very first week of university and taking part in MILMUN 2014 as a delegate, he contributed to the success of MILMUN 2015 as a member of the Executive Committee. Marco also served as President of Bocconi Students MILMUN Society and Conference Manager for MILMUN 2016.


Angelo Martelli


Angelo is a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Economy in the European Institute at LSE, where he also work as Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Economics Department. Before joining LSE he pursued graduate studies at Pompeu Fabra University (MAS and MSc in Economics) and completed a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University. During his studies he have been an intern in the Morgan Stanley Spring Insight Programme and a trainee in the Accenture In-Company training. His MUN experience started when he was pursuing the IB Diploma in Germany, attending conferences in The Hague, Bonn first as delegate and then as chair. He was head of the G-77 group and ACABQ member in the first MUN organized by the UN itself in Geneva in 2009 and prepared several Bocconi delegations attending conferences abroad. Since he arrived in Milan he became an active member of the MILMUN association: Chair (2008), Secretary General (2009), Academic consultant and Head of MILMUN-Bocconi(2009-2010) and since August 2009 he is a member of the Advisory Board.


Elena Sandell

A citizen of both Italy and the United States, Elena graduated from Bocconi University, earning her integrated Masters of Arts in Law with a major in Corporate, Financial, and Competition Law. During her last year of studies, she took part in the Themis program, spending one semester at Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany, and completing the Joint Certificate in International Business Law. Prior to enrolling at Bocconi, Elena spent one year studying political science in Washington, DC. She is currently working as a legal intern at a large law firm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and plans to pursue an LLM in the United States next year. Elena has been involved with Model UNs since high school, attending several conference throughout the United States and Europe. In 2012 she joined the MILMUN team as a member of the Bocconi Students MILMUN Society. In the following years she served as Under Secretary-General in 2014 and Secretary-General for the 10th edition of the Conference in 2015. She has been a member of the Advisory Board since 2015.


Eudochia Cristina Tomascu

Born in Romania, Cristina has always been fascinated by cultural diversity and developed an interest in International Affairs. Internationality is also the main reason why she chose to enroll in the International Bachelor program at Bocconi University. With a strong background in 5 foreign languages, Cristina has built upon her skills through experiencing foreign local customs and traditions.
Being part of the MILMUN ExCom for 3 years now has been giving her the passion and enthusiasm only MUNs environments can offer. For this reason she is also a member of the UNISAMUN ExCom, actively preparing this year’s Conference, held in Salerno.
Honored to be part of the 2015 MILMUN, she commits herself as well as the rest of the Team to making MILMUN, now at its 10th edition, once again a truly memorable Conference.


Matilde de Bivar Cruz


Matilde is a Portuguese undergraduate student currently enrolled in the Bachelor of International Economics and Finance at Università Bocconi. Aspiring to a career in diplomacy or working with international organisations, she sees her participation in the MUN world not only as an opportunity to gain the skills that will help her in the future but also as a way to get in touch with other cultures and points of view. Her work in MILMUN began with the 2015 Executive Committee, and she was Under Secretary-General of MILMUN 2016.



Roberta Sgariglia

Roberta Sgariglia is a 20 year old Economics and Finance student at Bocconi University. Her MUN addiction dates back to her high school years when she started attending conferences in Europe and the US. Intrigued by challenges posed by both the organizational and academic side of MUNs, she has been actively engaged with MILMUN since her first year of university. Since then, Roberta has served as Fundraising Manager and Vice President of the Bocconi Students MILMUN Society
